Dr. Steadman guided Dr. Reed and Dr. Dorian during their internship. His dreams of becoming Residency Director were squashed when his pandering to Dr. Kelso failed and the position was awarded to Dr. Cox. Shortly after that decision was made, Dr. Steadman, who hates to be called Jeff, quickly left sight of the public eye.
