A newcomer to the hospital staff, Nurse Shirley has adjusted well to her new work environment.   Although she bears no resemblance what so ever, Dr. Dorian insists she looks strikingly similar to the late Nurse Roberts, which could be a result of Dr. Dorian's love for the classic sitcom, Laverne and Shirley. Nurse Shirley, who is sometimes foul mouthed, strongly dislikes Dr. Dorian and has developed a close relationship with the Janitor .
