After too many close encounters with volcanic eruptions on his native island of the Big Island, Dr. Rex left his home state of Hawaii to study medicine on the mainland. Since beginning his internship at Sacred Heart, Dr. Rex has accidentally lost the tip of an index finger to a patient, had one side-burn removed by Dr. Cox and had his chest opened up by Dr. Dorian with a circular saw.   To exhibit his love of partying, Dr. Rex specially ordered a license plate that reads "PRTYDOC".
