When he isn't playing hide the saltine or watching reruns of old sitcoms with his best friend Dr. Chris Turk, or trying to garner a hug from his mentor and idol Dr. Perry Cox... or carrying on excessively with Dr. Elliot Reed... or having some fantasy... or being tormented by Sacred Heart's Janitor, Dr. Dorian can be found at his patient's bedside, caring for them and giving them the best darn treatment he can.
As a "sensy", Dr. Dorian knows the value of giving a patient the utmost attention and catering to their sensitive side. Although he doesn't work well under pressure, he strives to be a great doctor. Where his technical expertise lacks, his instincts and diagnostic ability are extraordinary. He has the uncanny talent to tie hospital stories up into neat little lessons - especially when The Fray is playing softly in the background.
Although he may qualify *slightly* as a geek, Dr. Dorian has had romantic encounters with a number of attractive girls in the last 7 years, although he's not one to brag:
Danni Sullivan Dr Molly Clock
Kylie Julie Quinn
Neena Broderick Dr. Elliot Reid
Dr. Kimberly Banks Jamie Moyer
Lisa "the Gift Shop Girl"
Alex Hanson
Melody O'Harra
Quotes:
"...there's more to healing than what's in the books. I talk to my patients, I-I sing to them... ask them what their hobbies are and tell them ghost stories about an old sea captain."
"It's never easy to see a patient that's getting worse instead of better. In fact that's kind of the opposite of what we're going for." |
